This guide shares the locations of all seven Heartkelp Sprouts found across Another Crab’s Treasure’s colorful underwater setting.
In the exciting new game Another Crab’s Treasure, you are controlling Kril, a courageous hermit crab aiming to retrieve back his stolen shell. In the game where Kril needs to battle powerful bosses, it’s important to make sure his health is in good condition all the time. Gathering Heartkelp Sprouts is vital to raising the maximum number of Heartkelp Pods Kril can hold, offering valuable healing during tough battles.
There are a total of seven Heartkelp Sprouts to find in Another Crab’s Treasure and finding each one upgrades the capacity of Heartkelp Pods you can carry.
The first Heartkelp Sprout is located in The Moon Snail’s Cave within The Shallows region. From the cave entrance, head south until reaching a ledge with a green fishnet. Climb up using the shortcut pole, then proceed straight ahead to the area next to the brown and green bottle.
Cross over using the jellyfish on the right, then reach the part under the stalactite with a red flip-flop. Jump onto the jellyfish next to the orange scissors and milkshake lid to ascend. The Heartkelp Sprout will be visible as a yellow sparkle on a rock to the south.
The second Heartkelp Sprout can be purchased from the Prawn Shop, located north of the Lower Crust Moon Snail Shell in New Carcinia. It costs 5,000 Microplastics and can only be bought once.
To reach the third Heartkelp Sprout, head east from the Central Vista in The Sands Between and use the Mantis Punch adaptation to break the Umami Cube blocking the path.
Continue north from the Secluded Ridge fast travel point, following the valley splits to the right. The Heartkelp Sprout will be at the end of the cliff, marked by a yellow sparkle.
The fourth Heartkelp Sprout requires the Eelectrocute adaptation, obtained by defeating the boss Voltai. From the Flotsam Runoff Moon Snail Shell, head west until encountering a robot crab. Use Eelectrocute on the robot to lower a bridge-like platform.
Cross the bridge and continue south past the column-shaped rocks. The Heartkelp Sprout will be visible as a yellow sparkle near the pink and green coral.
The fifth heart kelp Sprout can be found near the Rainbow River moonshell in the Expired Grove area. As you move forward before continuing up the hill, turn around and use your hook to climb up a bunch of milk cartons to find this one tucked away up high on top.
Starting from the Hermit’s Plateau Moon Snail Shell in The Unfathom, head southeast towards the purple lights.
At the cliff’s edge, jump onto the stone pillar, then turn left and jump to the ledge with a yellow fishnet. Climb to the top, turn southwest, and open the oyster on the cliff’s ledge to obtain the Heartkelp Sprout.
The final Heartkelp Sprout is located near the Lookout Tower Moon Snail Shell in The Old Ocean. Use the toilet paper bridge to head south to the palace hall. Proceed to the end of the hall and climb the stairs to the west. Before ascending the second set of stairs, turn south and use the foam spray to cross over.
Continue south across the floating stones, using bubbles and hooks to navigate. Time your movements carefully with the foam spray to reach the other side, where the oyster containing the Heartkelp Sprout awaits.
Heartkelp Sprouts help Kril carry more Heartkelp Pods, which are crucial for restoring health in the game. At first, Kril can only hold three Heartkelp Pods, but each Heartkelp Sprout discovered adds one more to this capacity.
Collecting all seven Heartkelp sprouts will enable Kril to carry a maximum of ten Heartkelp Pods, significantly improving his chances of survival in the face of powerful bosses.
