Discover all Legendary Catfish locations in the Cat Quest 3 Furlorn Fishercat quest. Learn how to catch the Fursome Four and earn the rewards.
The Furlorn Fishercat side quest in Cat Quest 3 is an adventure that takes you across the map to catch four Legendary Catfish. This guide will help you find all the catfish locations and complete the quest.
To begin the Furlorn Fishercat quest you’ll need to head to The Straits Island area.
Look for the Grumpy Fishercat NPC near Pawt Purvanna in the starting zone. Talk to him and catch the nearby fish to start your catfish-catching journey.
You’ll need to track down four Legendary Catfish scattered across different areas of the map. Some of these spots might be in high-level zones so be prepared for a challenge.
Head to the middle west part of Purvanna. You’ll find the Rock Catfish swimming near the shore.
To catch it swim behind it and guide it towards the net. Watch out for floating spike ball traps in the water. They can hurt you if you’re not careful.
Travel to the lower part of the Lovepurr Islands in the far east of the map. Look for a small bay where the Lover Catfish is hanging out.
This catfish is a bit different. Instead of running away, it’ll follow you. Lead it out of the bay and into its net.
The final catfish is lurking in the middle of a spiral land formation on Furggy Island in the southwestern corner of the map.
Ghost Pi-rat enemies will spawn and attack you with ranged weapons, so this catch is tricky. Don’t bother fighting them – they’ll keep respawning.
Hop in your ship and quickly guide the Ghost Catfish to its net.
You’ll find the Sunset Catfish near the Eight Bit Castle in the northwestern corner of the map.
This one requires a bit more effort. You’ll need to guide it along a winding path to its net.
Each time you catch a Legendary Catfish you’ll get a piece of special gear:
As you catch more fish these items will level up giving you even better stats.
Once you’ve catched all four Legendary Catfish head back to the Grumpy Fishercat at The Straits Island. Turn in your catches and he’ll reward you with The Son’s Rod.
This ranged weapon shoots exploding bait that water enemies are weak to. It’s the perfect companion to your new Fishercat gear.
Completing the Furlorn Fishercat side quest in Cat Quest 3 is a fun challenge that takes you all over the map. With this guide, you’ll be reeling in those Legendary Catfish in no time. Happy fishing!
