Discover how extraction works in Dungeonborne. Learn how to find portals, use escape rooms, and secure your loot safely.
Dungeonborne throws you into a world of danger and riches. But getting out alive with your hard-earned loot is the real challenge. This guide will break down how to extract in Dungeoborne.
Extraction is key to your success in Dungeonborne. It’s not just about finding loot – it’s about making it out alive with your treasures.
The game offers two main ways to escape: portals and escape rooms.
As you explore the dungeon portals start popping up. Keep an eye out for their distinct blue glow.
These aren’t marked on your map so you’ll need to stay alert:
When you spot a portal don’t rush in just yet. Activating it takes about 10 seconds and sends out a ping to nearby players. Unless you’ve got a Ritual Scroll that is. These handy items mask your location during activation.
Once a portal is up and running anyone can use it. So stick close if you’ve activated one. You don’t want to miss your chance to escape while someone else swoops in and takes your spot.
If portals are giving you trouble look for escape rooms. These are marked on your map with blue icons.
The catch is there are only two per dungeon and they’re one-time use. If someone beats you to it you’re out of luck.
When to extract depends on your goals. Are you in it for the long haul aiming to defeat tough bosses? Or do you prefer a quick smash-and-grab?
Remember extraction isn’t just about finding a way out. It’s about timing strategy and a bit of luck. The more you practice the better you’ll get at securing your loot and living to tell the tale.
Dungeonborne’s extraction system adds an extra layer of excitement to every run. It’s not just about what you find – it’s about whether you can make it out with your precious loot.
