Before you can move your castle in V Rising, you first need to unlock the Castle Relocation Heart. You’ll gain access to this important item after completing the quest called “The First Book in the Library.” This quest comes right after the “Blood Hunt” mission where you track down your first V Blood target.
Once you finish “The First Book in the Library,” the Castle Relocation Heart will become available to craft. It costs 100 Blood Essence to build. Make sure you have the resources ready so you can construct it when the time comes to relocate your V Rising base.
Preparing Your Old Castle for the Move
There’s not much you need to do to get your current castle ready for relocation. The game will automatically pack up all your crafting stations, refinement equipment, chests, and even your servants and prisoners. Everything gets transferred over to the new spot.
However, if you have any plants growing in garden plots, it’s a good idea to harvest them before moving. Otherwise, the relocation process will revert them back to seed form. You won’t get any of the crops they would have yielded.
Scouting Out and Preparing a New Castle Location
With at least 100 Blood Essence in your inventory, head to the spot on the map where you want to rebuild your castle. Clear out the area, getting rid of any enemies or animals that could cause trouble during the move.
