Get Food and Water in Town Quest Guide in Sand Land
Before going to Talbo and starting the quest, check out Aro Village Ruins. Look for chests with crafting stuff, visit the peddler for healing stuff and buffs, and grab the toy duck collectible there.
Step 1: Bandit Encounter
Follow the waypoints to Talbo, but watch out for the tough Alpha Raptor roaming around. It’s best to steer clear of it until you have better vehicles later in the game.
Unfortunately, your path is blocked by a group of bandits. Engage them in combat, switching between targets and learning to dodge their powerful attacks, especially the Bandit Leader boss’ attacks.
If you succeed in defeating the Bandit Leader, this mission will reward you with 150 EXP and 250 Zeni, likely granting your first level up.
Step 2: Skill Upgrades
After leveling up, be sure to open the menu and assign skill points to Beelzebub, Rao, and Thief. Customize their abilities based on your preferred playstyle, whether it’s an offensive approach with Rao or a more passive, collection-focused build with Thief.
Step 3: Stealth Mission in Talbo
With your car disabled, you’ll have to proceed on foot to Talbo. Here, you’ll take control of Thief and learn the art of stealth. Your objective is to gather food and water supplies from five different locations around the town without being detected.
Step 4: Go to All Food and Water Supply Locations

| 2 | After getting the initial supplies, go around the left side of the house. Wait for a girl to pass by; when she’s far enough, cross over to find more supplies. |
| 3 | Behind the fenced farm plot, there are supplies on the left side. |
| 4 | Ascend the stairs and collect supplies from the house’s edge, but watch out for a woman with a red arrow above her head. |
| 5 | Climb onto crates and up to the cliff. Follow the path around the left side of the house to find the last set of supplies and complete the quest. |
Keep following the markers and use the awareness indicators to move past threats without being noticed. Be cautious and patient, as getting spotted will instantly fail the quest.
