The Blood Merlot is a useful consumable item in V Rising that serves as an improved version of the Blood Potion. It requires less of a prisoner’s health and has a smaller impact on their misery percentage.
This guide will explain how to unlock the Blood Merlot recipe, craft the item, and use it to create the Blood Merlot Amulet.
To gain access to the Blood Merlot recipe, players must first defeat Baron du Bouchon the Sommelier. This boss is located in the Silverlight Hills area of the map. Upon defeating Baron du Bouchon, the Blood Merlot recipe will become available for use.
To craft a Blood Merlot, the following materials are required:
Sacred Grapes can be found in the Silverlight Hills region, near Baron du Bouchon’s location.
Once all the necessary materials have been gathered, players can craft the Blood Merlot using a Prison Cell. To do this, players must have a prisoner confined within the cell. Interacting with the Prison Cell will present the option to create a Blood Merlot.
Crafting a Blood Merlot will consume 25% to 50% of the prisoner’s health and increase their misery by 5% to 15%. The resulting Blood Merlot will retain the blood quality and type of the prisoner.
When consumed, a Blood Merlot will fully replenish the player’s blood pool with the corresponding quality and type of the prisoner’s blood used to craft it. This makes it a more efficient alternative to the standard Blood Potion.
To create the Blood Merlot Amulet, players will need the following materials:
The Blood Merlot Amulet can be crafted using the Artisan Table structure.
By following this guide, V Rising players can easily unlock the Blood Merlot recipe, craft the consumable item, and use it to create the powerful Blood Merlot Amulet.
