True DPS players will love playing as Grey Talon in Deadlock. As the only character wielding a bow in the game, he delivers powerful hits with the right build. This guide covers the best build for Grey Talon in Deadlock.

Grey Talon Skill Progression

Deadlock Grey Talon Ability Order
Your enemy just took an arrow to the knee.

All heroes in Deadlock have four abilities, including an ultimate. As a DPS, Grey Talon’s abilities are focused on damaging enemies:

  • Charged Shot: Grey Talon charges up and fires a powerful shot of Spirit damage, piercing enemies hit.
  • Rain of Arrows: Grey Talon flies into the air and glides. While in the air, Grey Talon’s bow damage is increased and he gains split shot.
  • Immobilizing Trap: Grey Talon throws out a trap that takes a moment to arm. Once active, enemy heroes that walk into the trap’s AoE are locked in place for a short moment.
  • Guided Owl: After a short charge-up, Grey Talon launches a Spirit Owl that he controls. On impact, it will deal heavy damage and stun all nearby enemies. Grey Talon gains permanent Spirit Power if he kills a target with the Owl.

Gray Talon relies heavily on farming Souls, as he is a DPS carry with no hard-hitting skills early in the game. Focus on leveling up Rain of Arrows first to harass enemies and clear troops.

Once you unlock Charged Shot, use it to finish off enemies when their health is low.
