Seven is one of the coolest-looking heroes in Deadlock, Valve’s new MOBA game. He’s also a great choice for beginners. While he isn’t too complicated to use, having the best build is still crucial to dominate the game. This guide covers the best Seven build in Deadlock.

Seven Skill Progression

Deadlock Seven
Electrocutes crowds of enemies.

Each hero in Deadlock has four abilities, including an ultimate. As a DPS, Seven abilities are focused on dealing damage:

  • Lightning Ball: Shoot a ball of lightning that deals damage. On impact with enemies or structures, the ball moves slower.
  • Static Charge: Throw an electric charge onto an enemy. This charge explodes after a short time, doing damage and stunning anyone in the area.
  • Power Surge: Empowers Seven’s burst rifle bullets with electricity, which chains between nearby enemies.
  • Storm Cloud (Ultimate): Float and channel an electric storm that damages all enemies within a large AOE. You cannot move while channeling the storm.

The best skill progression for Seven is Power Surge > Storm Cloud > Lightning Ball > Static Charge.

Start by maxing out Power Surge to deal early damage. However, unlock Lightning Ball and Static Charge once before focusing on Power Surge and Storm Cloud to help you secure your lane.

Storm Cloud is the next skill to prioritize. Seven’s ultimate deals massive AOE damage and is crucial for securing kills in team clashes. Upgrading your ultimate also grants bullet resistance while channeling, and an empowered Power Surge will chain between more targets, dealing even greater damage.
