The update adds a new wasteland biome in the south of the island, created by a recent sandstorm. The Wasteland Warriors have established several locations in this area:

  • Redline Rig: A Nitro refinery run by The Machinist
  • Nitrodrome: A circus of car spectacle run by Ringmaster Scarr
  • Brutal Beachhead: The base of operations for the Wasteland Warriors, led by Megalo Don

Players can also discover other changes in the wasteland, such as the Sandy Steppes, formerly known as Snooty Steppes.

Nitro Splash and Nitro Barrels can be found across the island, infusing cars or players with temporary advantages:

  • Nitro-fied Car: Increased driving speed, explosive ramming power, decreased fuel consumption, and buffed attack mods
  • Nitro-fied Player: Increased movement speed, explosive bashing power, decreased stamina consumption, increased reload speed and fall damage immunity

Players can also use Nitro Fists to perform powerful punch combos and aerial punches.

Players can attach mods using Vehicle Mod Boxes and repair their vehicles with Repair Boxes or the unvaulted Repair Torch. Service Stations have replaced gas pumps, refilling cars’ gas and health.

  • Megalo Don: Medallion infuses infinite Nitro, drops Mythic Nitro Fists

Defeating the Warriors also allows players to steal their cars, which have infinite Nitro.

Unvaulted and Carried-Over Weapons

Several weapons have been unvaulted or carried over from the previous season, with some receiving balance changes:

  • Shotguns: Cerberus’ Gatekeeper, Combat, Gatekeeper, Hammer Pump, Oscar’s Frenzy Auto
