Fortunately, there are ways to put a stop to bandits stealing in Manor Lords. This guide will walk you through the steps to prevent bandits from stealing your resources in Manor Lords.

How to Deal with Bandits in Manor Lords

Bandits operate from camps scattered across the map, which spawn randomly throughout your Manor Lords playthrough. The game will notify you when a new bandit camp has been discovered, allowing you to take action. To locate these camps:

• Click on the bandit notification that appears at the top of the screen
• Zoom out to the full map view and look for the distinctive tent icon

Unlike raiders, bandits will not actively attack your settlement. Instead, they’ll remain at their camps, periodically pilfering your resources until you confront them.

There are two main ways to stop Bandits from stealing in Manor Lords:

Defeating Bandits with Your Army

To stop bandits from stealing your resources, you must eliminate them and conquer their camps. This requires a strong and well-equipped army. In the early stages of the game, you can:

• Equip your militia with weapons and military resources
• Utilize your retinue, your personal guard, to deal with the bandits

Once your army is ready, guide them to the bandit camp. As you approach, the bandits will gather their forces and meet you on the battlefield. Emerge victorious from the ensuing combat, and then click on the bandit camp with your army selected to conquer it.

This will reward you with money that can be added to either the regional wealth of the nearest town or your treasury, depending on your choice.

Adjusting Game Settings

If you find yourself overwhelmed by the number of bandits in your Manor Lords game, you can modify the settings during the Game Setup phase to reduce their presence:

• Lower the number of initial bandit camps to decrease the number of camps present at the start of the game
• Adjust the random bandit camp spawn limit to limit the number of camps that can appear throughout your playthrough

For a completely bandit-free experience, you can set both of these options to “None” and “0” respectively. Alternatively, choosing the “Rise to Prosperity” difficulty setting will also eliminate bandits from your game.
